Olympic Postcards

Another remarkable real picture postcard of the RMS Olympic with passengers on board showing the starboard side. If you look closely you can see the name of the ship just below the 4th porthole located in the top white area. This postcard is unused and is in great condition.

This marvelous real picture postcard was taken shortly after the Titanic tragedy when all ships had to comply with the new rules regarding safety. The lifeboats in the picture were once thought to be from the Titanic, returned to the White Star Line from the U.S., but further research showed that this was not true. They were probably intended for another ship docked in Southampton. Message written on the back and posted from Southampton on August 10, 1916.
