These are wood working tools used in the construction of the RMS Titanic. Skilled craftsman, Thomas McCauley, had been employed by Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast, Ireland and worked as a carpenter during the construction of both the RMS Olympic and Titanic. These tools were passed down to his grandson who had them on display at Belfast University in 1975. They were later displayed at the Titanic Museums in Branson, MO and Pigeon Forge, TN.
