RMS Olympic Tin
RMS Olympic Cadbury Tin

An RMS Olympic Tin from Cadbury bearing an artist’s rendition of the ship with the White Star Line burgee on front. The hinged side once opened would have contained Cadbury chocolates. After consumption it doubled as a match safe with an embossed striker on reverse. These were sold in souvenir shops on board the White Star Line’s vessels and independently from Cadbury. The Olympic was the largest steamer in the world from 1911-1913, with a brief interruption from Titanic which was slightly larger. This Tin dates from 1912/13. (better pic to come)
