Displayed
is a complete passenger list from September 13,
1910 detailing the saloon passengers on board the
RMS Carpathia. This multiple page booklet shows
routes and docking locations for the various ships
in the Cunard Steam Ship Co. as well as customs
details and some safety requirements.
The
front page, on the left, shows ships and their sizes
that belonged to the company along with the name
of each Captain.
Sadly,
as WWI progressed, some of these ships were sunk
by German U-Boats, to include the RMS Carpathia
and the famed Lusitania, a tragedy which helped
push the U.S. into the war.
